Blogger #15 - Stephen Liang - Period 1 - 11/30/20 - Day A - Freshman 2021

Today is when we start our Poem Anthology Project.

Aim: How can our knowledge and experience with poetry and poetic techniques ensure the successful creation of our Poem Anthology Project?

Do Now: How do you usually feel when you learn you are being assigned a new project? Why?

Anthology: a big word for a collection of works

Use the list on slide 2 of RL: Poem Anthology Proj Assign slides or the Rubric as a checklist for your project.

You may use your past time poem as your Free verse poem if you would like to.

We have gone over both extended metaphors and sonnets. Use your notes to your advantage.

Be sure to identify the title, the type of poem, as well as the page number as you write them, as well as on the Table of Contents.

Drawings for each poem may be either hand-drawn or copy and pasted from the internet.

Refer to your wordpool for inspiration.

Day A: Project Due 12/20

If you are confused about something, be sure to ask your team for help.

You may use RL: Elevator Pitch & Consult-Poem Anthology slides with your group to help you.

Be sure to submit the assignment on time. Every day late = -10 points on your grade.
